Intro

Hey there America!

The name's Russ. I'm a 45 year old trucker living in Marietta, Georgia. That's just north of Atlanta, in case you're wondering.

Things haven't been going so great for me lately. I'm currently unemployed... broke... my car kicked the bucket, and I might soon be homeless. Oh, and I'm not in the best of health either.

But hey... I ain't dead, yet.

Anyway, I decided to open a blog about my struggle to find work, and hopefully pulling myself out of this downward spiral.
I'm not sure what to say or do here yet, and I doubt this will help to get me out of the nasty hole I'm in, but... other than possibly wasting some time, it can't hurt much either.

Who knows, maybe I'll make a friend or two in the trucking biz, or get pointed toward a decent job opening.
If nothing else, at least I can publicly sob and moan about my tragic life. :)
Not that anyone's listening...

So a warm welcome to all my brother and sister truckers of the world... and to job recruiters, driver managers, dispatchers, and anyone else bored enough to read on. I'll try not to turn this into a rambling bitch-fest, but no, I'm not making any promises either! lol

Since I'm a newbie here at blogspot, I should probably poke around a bit and see what's cookin'. Not sure yet if this site offers enough features to satisfy me. Hrmm... no way to send a PM? And these templates seem so basic and boring. Yeesh. Haven't found a single one I like.

Ah well, off I go for now.
